1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Eligibility

By registering for an account or using the platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to agree to these terms. If you are preparing for UPSC Civil Services Examination under the guidance of parents/guardians, they must agree to these terms on your behalf.

2. Description of the Platform

ToppersMarg provides compiled, indexed, and fully searchable topper answer booklets, diagrams, flowcharts, and study statistics. The Service includes visual diagram explorers, revision portals, daily streak counters, study calendar tracking, and referral point structures. The platform is designed solely for personal, non-commercial exam preparation.

3. User Account Security & Profile Completion

To unlock full answer sheet features and avoid limits, you must complete your user profile. You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and current information, including your full name, mobile number, city, state, optional subject, and number of UPSC attempts. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Authentication credentials and session tokens. Sharing accounts or login details with third parties is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate suspension.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Calculations

Our platform offers premium features under subscriptions managed directly by platform administrators.

• Pricing Plans: Pricing points (weekly, monthly, annual, or exam-specific passes) are defined dynamically in our admin database and displayed before purchase.
• Per-Day Rates: Calculated per-day costs (e.g. ₹X/day) shown on the landing page or subscription interface are math breakdowns to represent the cost-effectiveness of our plans and do not represent a daily billing commitment. All plans are paid in full upfront.
• Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of the compiled topper database, all subscription purchases, credits, and activations are immediately processed and are strictly non-refundable.
• Billing Gateway: All transactions are executed securely via accredited third-party payment gateways (such as Cashfree or Razorpay). We do not store raw card numbers or private UPI PINs.

5. Gamification, Streaks, and Referrals

ToppersMarg features referral benefits and streak counters to incentivize daily practice. You must not exploit these systems. Creating fake referral accounts, self-referring with multiple emails, or executing scripts to automatically bypass daily search limits will violate these Terms and result in the automatic forfeiture of all points, removal from the public leaderboard, and permanent IP ban.

6. Intellectual Property, Source Disclaimers & Fair Use

Please carefully review our disclaimers concerning compiled topper booklets:

• Third-Party Material & Coaching Logos: The handwritten answer copies indexed on the platform are submitted by successful UPSC aspirants. These copies contain original test questions, marks, evaluations, feedback stamps, and logos belonging to their respective third-party coaching institutes (e.g. VisionIAS, ForumIAS, Vajiram, etc.).
• Ownership & Trademarks: ToppersMarg does not claim copyright, trademark ownership, or exclusive rights over any third-party questions, evaluation stamps, or coaching brands. All trademarks belong to their respective proprietors.
• Fair Use Indexing: These materials are compiled from public repositories and indexed solely for educational lookup, comparative review, and academic research purposes under the "Fair Use" doctrine (Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957). We compile these resources to allow students to compare presentation styles, which is critical for competitive mains exams.

7. Prohibited Usage & Anti-Scraping Policies

You may not access the Service using automated crawlers, bots, or scraping tools. You agree not to download, screenshot, extract, copy, or redistribute bulk segments of our OCR transcriptions, compiled topper answers, extracted diagrams/figures, or dashboard interfaces. Any attempt to scrape our endpoints, reverse-engineer frontend scripts, or execute denial-of-service queries will lead to immediate legal action and technical blacklisting.

8. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. TOPPERSMARG IS A STUDY COMPILATION AID. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE IN THE UPSC CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION OR ANY OTHER COMPETITIVE TEST. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL TOPPERSMARG BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal actions, claims, or disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.
